Great Day 5k walk/run

A race for all ages. Everything will take place near downtown Howe.

  7:30 - check-in

  8:30 - the race begins

  awards will be announced shortly after the conclusion of the race


Prizes will be awarded for the top male and top female.

Medals will be awarded for the top 3 runners in each of the following divisions:








All pre-registered runners will receive a bag of local

“goodies” including an official Great Day 5k t-shirt!

all proceeds from the race will go towards supplies for the great days of service


there will be a bounce house and other activities for kids of all ages ushering in the return of founder’s day


the race will be followed by the Howe Fire Department’s annual Car Show

Beyond great participation, we want to encourage great health and great preparation, so we encourage you to check out this 9-week running plan.


We will also be offering training for you to carry out your running plan each Saturday morning. Meet at 8:00 at the track in Howe (as soon as it has opens again from being resurfaced) to get yourself ready for the big race!
